Is it possible for someone to catch a signal and use my account?
No, it isn’t. There are several levels of protection during the exchange of information between the base station and your modem, including coding and authentication of carrier frequency.
To what extent is the wireless network protected?
The service is available in a licensed frequency spectrum. The wireless network is secured by various safety mechanisms restricting the chances for a breach in the network. These mechanisms include the use of personal air interfaces between the base station and the customers modem. There is also a carrier frequency technology for direct access to the location of the client’s modem, filtration of the emitted signal and authentication and authorization technology.
Must I sign a contract?
To use the MaxTelecom service it is necessary to sign a contract. The term of the contract is determined when it is signed.
